The canara engineering college academic block is planned as a series of buildings built over stages as required over the years in the western side of the 25acre campus. The statue of the founder A.SR Pai served as the focal point around which the academic block was built with the admin block being the main building giving an identity to the campus. The comprising of student hostel and staff housing was built on the eastern side of the 25acre campus with student amenities, sports facilties, and public spaces dividing the bridge between the two sides
