The residence was built after demolishing the previous existing house which was an old traditional house of the family. The old building was a typical south canara architecture and it was decided to use a few elements from this previous house.

Respecting the traditional architecture and being inspired by the same, The new quasi-traditional house was designed following the vastu shastra and clients love for gardens. Since the house lies on corner plot of a busy street , the house is built on a massive plinth to provide privacy from the pedestrians and road traffic.
